BEGINNERS COURSES
WEEKDAY CRASH COURSE
Suitable for complete beginners or as a refresher course for nail technicians who have
not done nails for a long time.
Thursdays 9.30am to 2.30pm
£195 including use of products in class
Includes own files & gel brushes to take home
Learn nail extensions, gel on natural nails & infills in clear, french & colour.

UV gel lamp purchase - special offer price £60 (limit 2 per person)
Kits & lamps are available to purchase in advance or on the day.
We will issue you with a receipt & a confirmation letter.
All products will be available to use in class
You can purchase the full salon sized kit at a special price so you can practice at home
A model is optional - if you have no model, you can work on your own nails

Course timetable
Day 1 – you need a model to do a full set of nail extensions & apply gel in clear and french manicureAT HOME – practice as much as possible at home
Day 2 – your model returns to have infills and colour gel applied
At home, you will be asked to complete a written assessment of questions to ensure you have a good understanding of nail anatomy, diseases, disorders, hygiene etc..
You are provided with a thoroughly written Training Manual which covers all of the relevant topics required for the assessment questions.
Upon completion of the 2 classes, you will be given a certificate.
We also offer you a FREE practical assessment in order to make you a more confident nail technician.
Upon successful completion of the practical assessment, we will provide you with an additional diploma certificate. This can be taken at any time with no time limit.
You will also benefit from FREE ongoing technical support via telephone, email, our website & in person… etc
If you have difficulty finding models for your course, please let us know as we may be able to help you, or you will be asked to apply nail extensions to your own nails.

Duration of course – 3x Sundays with practice time in between
You will learn the following:
Nail anatomy, nail structure, nail diseases & disorders & salon hygiene with full TRAINING MANUALBasic manicure procedures for prep to include cuticle work, filing & shaping of natural nails
Tip application, blending & shaping to look as natural as possible
Application of soak off gels in clear, natural, French manicure & coloured.
Application of the stronger hard gels in clear, natural, French manicure & coloured
Infills and maintenance of UV gels
UV gels on tips and on natural nails
How to deal with problem nails (such as bitten or badly broken nails)
Sculpting on forms to extend and/or repair the natural nail
How to apply nail art stickers, rhinestones, glitters & shimmers
Safe removal of gel nail enhancements.
All of our Educators also own salons and do nails on clients as well and are therefore ‘practicing what they preach’.

36 watt UV gel lamp with 4 bulbs & timer, disinfectant sanitiser spray,primer, base & build gel, pink mask gel, high gloss gel, extra white French tip gel,
acetone free remover, tip remover, 500 nail wipes, cuticle remover,
cuticle pusher, 2 x gel brush, tip adhesive, box of 500 tips, tip cutters, files x 4.
Course timetable

Day 3 afternoon – no model required and you learn how to work with soak off gel, sculpting on forms, glitter gels, shimmer gels & nail art.. etc
